Buy From Susan Boyle’s Album Still At Top Spot In UK

Singer Susan Boyle has held on to the top spot in the album charts with her debut release I Dreamed a Dream.
It went to number one last week after it became the best-selling debut in UK chart history.
I Dreamed A Dream shifted more than 410,000 copies in its first week and total sales have now passed 700,000.
Boyle, runner-up in ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, almost lost out to Irish band Westlife, whose latest album went straight in at number two.
There was another new entry at number three with Take That’s The Greatest Day – The Circus Live.
There was also no change at the top of the Official UK Singles Chart for Peter Kay’s charity single for the BBC’s Children in Need appeal.
The Official UK Charts Company said Boyle’s debut album was already the third biggest seller of the year.
Managing director Martin Talbot said: “Susan Boyle’s debut was historic and we expect ‘the Susan Boyle effect’ to be felt in the charts for a long time to come yet.”

It’s been two weeks since the launch of I Dreamed A Dream and Susan is still doing great! Well, after listening to this CD, I do feel it is really a nice Christmas gift for moms, dads, aunts and even grandmoms! Imagine hearing Susan’s renditions of “Amazing Grace” and “Silent Night” on Christmas night with the whole family, hmm, it’s going to be so beautiful and touching…
