Boyle, from Scotland, has been looking forward to singing for the Pope for the longest time and now it’s only a few weeks away.

Although rehearsing Boyle still isn’t sure what she will sing.

A church source told UK newspaper the Daily Record: “Susan said it would be a dream come true to perform for the Pope and she was delighted when we invited her.

“We haven’t decided what she will sing or whether it will be before or after the Mass. Those decisions will be made when we meet Susan.”

The Pope will be visiting the UK for a four-day tour from September 16-19.

According to U.S. retail sources, the singer is currently recording a Christmas album, Billboard.com reported. The details are unknown, but Boyle’s record company, Sony, is aiming for an October release date of her upcoming record.

Earlier this month, Boyle kicked off a singing competition in which someone could win the opportunity to duet with the singer on her new album. Contestants can enter “Susan’s Search” by uploading a video of them performing “Silent Night.”

According to Billboard, Boyle’s debut album, “I Dreamed a Dream,” sold over 3.7 millions copies in America, coming in second to Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” for last year’s total record sales.

According to a new story from The Daily Record, Boyle surprised fans at a young children’s gaga close to home in West Lothian by showing up, performing, and ultimately helping to crown the winner.

One parent gushed about the impact Susan’s appearance had on many of the youngsters:

“Susan made the children’s day. She’s such a massive star now – we were all amazed she turned up.”

Boyle is reportedly in the midst of recorded her follow-up to debut “I Dreamed a Dream”, which sold more than ten million copies around the globe.

Well, I can’t wait for Susan’s next album to arrive, have listened to it so many times that even my baby loves it.

According to reports, Boyle is in talks to perform at a Papal Mass when the Pope visits her native Scotland this fall. The singer’s team has yet to confirm the gig, telling Reuters that “Susan’s management are currently looking at the possibility of this happening.”

Boyle, of course, has lots of experience singing in church, having performed in local choirs for years before Britain’s Got Talent rocketed her to fame last spring.

Co-creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that he has approached the Britain’s Got Talent runner-up about a part on the E4 hit.

He said he’d love the Scottish I Dreamed A Dream singer to appear as a dinner lady for a festive special.

He said: “Susan, I have two words for you: ‘Lunch. Lady’.

“I think Kurt (Chris Colfer) would just die to give her a Christmas makeover.

“I don’t even know if she’s interested but it’s been pitched.”

Subo, who was unknown less than a year ago, will celebrate turning 49 on April 1 by becoming a multi-millionairess. The payout comes from her worldwide appearances and sales of her chart-topping debut album, I Dreamed A Dream which went platinum in six countries.

It broke the British charts’ record for the fastest-selling debut album in history, with 3.1 million bought in its first month. Elsewhere she has sold more than 8.5 million copies.

A source said: “Every day Susan wakes up having to pinch herself. She cannot believe how the public has taken her to their hearts everywhere.

“She has not wanted for anything since finding fame and now she will reap the benefit of her hard work.

“It’s her first taste of what serious money is like and it’s all hers.”

One of Susan’s first investments is likely to be a luxury new home with tight security near her home town of Blackburn, West Lothian.

Next weekend Susan, who has been in great demand in the US, is due to fly out to Tokyo and then to Australia for a series of appearances.

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) said that Claire Byrne’s comments were “inherently offensive,” “disrespectful” and “not editorially justified.”

Byrne made the comments on-air on Monday, November 17, after the Irish twin singing sensation of John and Edward Grimes were voted off TV show “X-Factor,” which had also featured Boyle as a guest.

Byrne said she did not think Boyle was a good enough singer to be on the show.

“She annoys me,” she said. “I can’t listen to her or watch her. She does my head in. The whole thing, she’s a freak show, she’s a freak . . . she’s not right in the head . . . it’s because she’s a freak that she’s up there.”

Byrne’s employers, Newstalk, claimed that the word “freak” referred to the “Britain’s Got Talent” TV show that sent Boyle on her way to global stardom, rather than the singer herself.

The BAI chose to disagree. It said the language was inappropriate and that the comments were “likely to cause offense.”
